Heidi Robel
Heidi RobelND, LAc, PC
Dr. Heidi Robel is founder and medical director of Yakima Integrative Health. She is a Naturopathic Physician and Acupuncturist in practice since 2007. Dr. Robel is passionate about fertility, hormones and thyroid disorders.

After graduating from the University of Washington with her Bachelor of Science, Dr. Robel went on to graduate in 2007 from Bastyr University with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Masters of Science in Acupuncture. After completing her education, she returned to the Yakima Valley, where she is originally from and started her medical practice.

When she is not practicing medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, Sawyer, Hudson and Charleigh. She is an avid runner and enjoys training for half and full marathons. She also enjoys traveling, wine tasting and reading a good book.
Joy Nauman
Joy NaumanND
Dr. Joy Nauman is a licensed Naturopathic Physician practicing Primary Care with a focus on Pediatrics and Women’s Health. She holds advanced degrees in Science and Education, as well as a certificate in midwifery. Additionally, she serves as the Research Director for Whole Systems Healthcare, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the field of Integrative Medicine Research.

Dr. Nauman began her career as a Montessori Elementary teacher. During her time teaching, she developed a strong interest in research and developmental pediatrics. She then pursued a career as a clinician/researcher at National University of Natural Medicine and Helfgott Research Institute in Portland, Oregon. After graduation, she moved to Yakima, Washington to join an established and thriving medical practice.

On her weekends, Dr. Nauman enjoys spending time with her partner and two children and is an avid supporter of the Seattle Mariners.

Dr. Nauman specializes in pediatrics, women’s health, gender-affirming care, LGBTQA+, neurodiversity, and functional gastroenterology.

Kenzie Fuller
Kenzie FullerND, LAc
Dr. Kenzie Fuller is a Naturopathic Physician and Licensed Acupuncturist who is passionate about health of the whole family. She has special interest in fertility, pediatric and adolescent wellness, hormonal health, and diabetes management. She has additional training in IUD insertion, IUI procedure, and lactation education and supports all people in their journey to parenthood.

Dr. Fuller graduated in 2021 from Bastyr University with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She integrates her training in conventional, naturopathic, and traditional Chinese medicine to find all-encompassing, sustainable, individualized plans for each patient. She is humbled to create collaborative relationships with her patients and assist them in finding optimal health and wellness.
Growing up in Reno, NV, Dr. Fuller developed a love for the outdoors at a young age. When she is not seeing patients, she can be found hiking, biking, paddleboarding, baking cookies, and rooting on her alma mater, the Gonzaga bulldogs.

Chandler Hire
Chandler HireND
Dr. Chandler Hire is a resident primary care Naturopathic physician at Yakima Integrative Health. He graduated in 2023 from Bastyr University with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Dr. Hire also holds a bachelors degree in Biochemistry from the University of WA, where he coached high school and youth clinics and played basketball at the ABA for several years. With a strong background in athletics and a 200 hr YT certification, Dr. Hire’s personal and professional experiences highlights his passion for holistic health.

Dr. Hire is originally from Seattle, WA; when he’s not on the basketball court you can find him spending time in nature, listening to music, and sampling cuisines from around the world.

In addition to primary care, Dr. Hire has a vested interest in helping patients feel and move better through physical medicine, acupuncture, cupping, and Tui Na. Dr. Hire integrates Chinese Medicine philosophy with an extensive understanding of biochemistry and anatomy to best serve his patients unique complaints.

Carol Taylor
Carol TaylorMPH, RDN, CDCES
Most people call Carol “CC”- a nickname given to her by one of her close friends that stuck over ten years ago. CC grew up in New Hampshire, completing her undergrad at the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor’s in Nutritional Sciences in 2006. After completing her dietetic internship in Richmond Virginia, she lived in Washington, DC for six years, working in clinical care nutrition in a large hospital.

In 2013, she moved to Yakima, at the same time, completed her Master’s in Public Health. CC is now a certified Health Coach and Weight Management Specialist, as well as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. With CC’s experience in clinical and community nutrition, she is eager to help meet the patient’s specific health needs, meeting them where they are with what resources they have to improve their health, one sustainable step at a time.
Kara Whisler

Kara has been a massage therapist for 7.5 years and really enjoys being able to bring a style that combines therapeutic work for those with chronic pain and discomfort into an environment that encourages relaxation. She moved to Yakima almost 2 years ago from Portland, but was born and and raised in Alaska until her early 20s.

Kara is crafty in the kitchen and enjoys doing a lot of home baking. She spends her free time reading while hanging out with her cats, and is passionate about world travel. Kara’s visited The Bahamas, Bali, Canada and Spain and is currently trying to plan for her next trip in 2024.
